In 1987, Hasbro decided that the only thing more fun than a barrel of monkeys is a bucket of Potato Head parts! Set #2255, Mr. Potato Head & His Bucket of Parts, had everything a kid needed for hours of face changing fun! The handy storage bucket contained Mr. Potato Head and 27 interchangeable parts.

    Although it was the same Mr. Potato Head  assortment, the 1989 bucket took on new graphics  and the color was changed to a clean, sanitary white!

    A couple of years later Mr. Potato Head went wacky with his wardrobe...really wacky! The Super Silly Mr. Potato Head broke from the normal funny face parts and changed over to some never seen before. This zany set added parts like arrows through hats, beehive hair, wild glasses and muscle arms. And all the pieces were now in super bright colors!
