As I mentioned before, the 1980s saw a huge increase in the number of Mr. Potato Head licensed items and non-toy items. Mr. Potato Head’s popularity was flying high, and so was his face. This nylon Mr. Potato Head Kite was released by Spectra Star in 1987. It measures a huge 22 by 24 inches and is very decorative. On the right is even a larger 55 inch Mr. Potato Head kite! (see also the 1990's version)
