There's one saying Mr. Potato Head obviously took to heart in the 1990’s... “Let the games begin!” More than ever, Mr. Potato Head games of all styles began to hit the market. And these weren't the simple “build a Potato Head” games of days gone by!
To date, there have been 4 different Mr. Potato Head hand held electronic games on the market. The rare Mr. Potato Head Make My Face game by Tiger Toys let kids build their favorite spud electronically. By locating the missing pieces,
children improved their memory, eye/hand coordination and problem solving skills.

Hasbro's Mr. Potato Head Hand Held Electronic game from 1997 offers several puzzle solving games, with hundreds of sounds and words, and lots of interactive buttons. Tiger Toys released another Mr. Potato Head game in 1999 that pitted the Spud family against the perils of a madcap kitchen! This game featured 3 dimensional Potato Head figures on the case, and faster action that was more appealing to older kids.

Hasbro Interactive has also released two Mr. Potato Head based CD-Rom games. Mr. Potato Head Saves Veggie Valley, released in 1996, teams up Mr. Potato Head and his daughter, Sweet Potato. They make their way through the adventure in search of a rain cloud to save Veggie Valley. The 1997 Mr. Potato Head Activity Pack CD-Rom has all kinds of creative art type activities, including a program to print out custom costumes for your Mr. Potato Head to wear!
