The Basic Fun company found success in the late 1990s by miniaturizing famous toys and putting them on key chains. In 1997, they introduced the Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head Real Working key chains. These 2 inch exact replicas come complete with removable parts. Sometime before the release of Two Story 2, the company released a second version of Mr. Potato Head key chain with the Toy Story face pieces. Originally released on a large card, the packaging for these key chains was down sized sometime during the first couple of years. One interesting note, the printing on some of the earlier large cards that originally said “Ages 6 and up” was quickly changed to say “Ages 8 and up”. (Basic Fun also released a new Soft foam version of this keychain in 2002!)
