Hasbro has long been a corporate sponsor of Operation Smile. In 2007, as part of their donations, Hasbro produced 1000's of plush Potato Head dolls that were to be given out by Operation Smile exclusively to children in third world countries. The plush doll featured the Operation Smile logo on his hat. Then in 2008, Hasbro produced a generic version of the doll to be used by other charities.  The dolls are identical except for the logo on the hat and the wording on the hang tag. The packages read "MPH Operation Smile" and "MPH Charity Plush".
